The Audubon Center at Debs Park
The Audubon building off-grid installation in Los Angeles was engineered and managed by Wade Webb, and installed by our hard working solar installation crew.
The following are excerpts from the Audubon’s press release.
“True to its charter that focuses on environmental protection, the Audubon Center at Debs Park in East Los Angeles. . . commissioned Solar Webb, Inc. to install 208 KC-125 watt photovoltaic (PV ) modules, which comprise the 26 kW rooftop solar array.
The system is designed to provide 100 percent of the facility’s energy needs.”
The stand alone system includes the PV array, the power conversion equipment and energy storage (battery system), which will maintain the 5000 sq.ft. building completely independent from the utility grid.
The Audubon Center at Debs Park, Los Angeles, California had their grand opening on November 6, 2003.
