The importance of Content, UX and SEO:
At Craig Webb Art, user experience and search optimization are complimentary objectives. First, getting a consumer to your website is critical. Upon arrival, the user on the website becomes the focus. Design, copy and user interface must serve the user’s needs.
Websites that work build brand trust and gain results. User’s belief in the integrity of the website service can be influenced by the user interface and design.
The written content is the most important aspect of the website. Good simple design starts from the content and enhancements proceed from the core message.
Our primary service is the copy that we write. We research markets and competitors to learn what services are typically offered and build a library of searchable terms and phrases. Searchable product and service terms and phrases are incorporated into copy while striving for a concise tone that sounds natural when read aloud.
Searchable keyword phrases are worked into section headlines, cut-lines, alt tags, link titles and meta tags, making sure that terms are not repeated.
Content is edited to compress the text as much as possible, and then re-edited on the web page for fit. Most importantly, website copy is read aloud to ensure that it sounds conversational.
Good content is recognized and highly ranked search engines such as Google, and is therefore critically important for both UX and SEO. HTML5 offers new semantic elements and accessibility standards which contribute to UX/SEO. Markup assists search engines to determine and rank content value.
Contact Craig Webb Art for help with content development. You will be pleased with the tangible result.
