Overlooking Regina Mountain on a Hot Sommer's Day
Overlooking Regina Mountain on a Hot Sommer's Day is a tribute to two artist friends who influenced me as an artist Regina Coretorre and John Sommers.
A friend once commented that this print was a very "vulnerable" image. She meant that the strong image made her feel vulnerable to look at it. That duality between strength and vulnerability has become something I strive to achieve an evocation of honesty and wonder and an introspection of the highly personal 15 x 22" 4 color lithograph printed from metal plates and stones by the artist at the University of New Mexico Lithography Department.
