Overlooking Regina Mountain on a Hot Sommer's Day

Overlooking Regina Mountain on a Hot Sommer's Day is a tribute to two artist friends who influenced me as an artist – Regina Coretorre and John Sommers.

A friend once commented that this print was a very "vulnerable" image. She meant that the strong image made her feel vulnerable to look at it.  That duality between strength and vulnerability has become something I strive to achieve – an evocation of honesty and wonder and an introspection of the highly personal

15 x 22" 4 color lithograph printed from metal plates and stones by the artist at the University of New Mexico Lithography Department. Published in the 1983 UNM Lithography Department Portfolio, Editioned with multiple artist proofs.
